The value of vRtrIfArpTimeout determines how long an ARP entry associated with this interface remains in the ARP cache. When vRtrIfArpTimeout has a value of zero, '0', the entry will never be cleared from the cache.
What is vRtrIfArpTimeout?
Configures how long (in seconds) an ARP cache entry associated with this interface is retained before expiring; a value of zero means entries never age out. This controls the rate at which the router refreshes its knowledge of neighbor MAC addresses.
