Description:
The tmnxVRtrBfdSessionDeleted notification is generated when a BFD session is deleted.
What is tmnxVRtrBfdSessionDeleted?
This is an alert notification that fires when a bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD) session unexpectedly terminates on the router. BFD monitors link health by rapidly detecting failures; session deletion means the link health check stopped working. An operator would receive this alert when a backup path activation is needed because the primary link's health monitoring just failed.
