What Is ZXR10-LOG-MIB?
ZXR10-LOG-MIB is a ZTE proprietary SNMP module for the ZXR10 platform describing the device's logging subsystem, covering both synchronization-related logs and operator command logs. It exposes event-log data including flow and command identifiers, the actual command string executed, timestamps, source IP address, and the terminal (VTY) line from which a command was issued. This MIB is directly useful for monitoring software/administrative activity on the device — tracking who did what and when — which supports auditing, troubleshooting configuration incidents, and correlating operational changes with reported faults. It is a self-contained logging MIB but is commonly cross-referenced with configuration-management MIBs (such as ZXR10-CONFIG-MAN-MIB) to tie logged commands to configuration-change events. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 routers/switches wherever command-level audit logging is required for security and operational accountability. Engineers can download the ZXR10-LOG-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-LOG-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- ZTE ZXR10 router/switch
Monitoring Examples
An operator would poll syncLogTable/syncLogEntry for syncLogFlowID, syncLogCmdID, syncLogCmdString, syncLogTimeStamp, syncLogIpAddr, and syncLogVtyNo to see exactly which CLI command was run, from which management IP, and over which VTY session. Cross-referencing this with operLogTable/operLogEntry's operLogFlowID and operLogCmdID lets an administrator reconstruct the sequence of operator actions immediately preceding an unexpected configuration change or outage.
What Can Be Monitored
- executed CLI command strings
- command timestamps
- source IP of administrative sessions
- VTY session identifiers
- operator command flow/history
