What Is ZXR10-SYSTEM-SOFTWARE-MIB?
ZXR10-SYSTEM-SOFTWARE-MIB is a ZTE proprietary module for ZXR10 series routers and switches that manages system software objects, including firmware/image file inventories and the status of firmware upgrade operations. It exposes configuration and status data such as the currently running and backup software image names, versions, and the state of an in-progress upgrade or image-download task. It is directly useful for monitoring software status on the device: an administrator can track the active firmware version, confirm which image is set to run at next boot, and watch an upgrade job progress from downloading through validation to completion or failure. It builds on standard SNMPv2-SMI conventions and is typically used alongside other ZXR10 hardware/system MIBs that report chassis and shelf inventory. It is deployed in ZTE ZXR10 carrier and enterprise router/switch environments to support remote firmware version auditing and upgrade automation, and engineers can download the ZXR10-SYSTEM-SOFTWARE-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser.
