What Is ZXR10-IF-QOS-MIB?

ZXR10-IF-QOS-MIB defines per-interface QoS policy parameters on ZTE ZXR10 routers/switches, covering traffic shaping, queuing, and scheduling configuration, including 802.1p CoS mapping, TTL-based QoS mode, and MLS (multi-layer switching) QoS mode settings per interface. It exposes configuration data mapping Layer 2/CoS markings (802.1p priority bits, inner/outer VLAN tag priority) to output queue behavior on a per-interface basis. As a QoS configuration MIB, its monitoring value is in confirming that traffic-prioritization policy is correctly and consistently applied per interface -- verifying that 802.1p or TTL-based QoS modes match intended design helps explain why certain traffic classes experience unexpected latency or drops during congestion. It builds on IEEE 802.1p CoS and general DiffServ-style QoS concepts as implemented within ZTE's ZXROS QoS framework. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 series routers/switches wherever per-interface traffic prioritization needs SNMP-based visibility and control. Engineers can download the ZXR10-IF-QOS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-IF-QOS-MIB. Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll zQosDot1pTable/zQosDot1pEntry (zQosDot1pStrifname) to check 802.1p-based QoS settings such as zQosDot1pBcvlanin/zQosDot1pBsvlanin (inbound C-VLAN/S-VLAN priority handling) and zQosDot1pBoutput (output queue mapping) for a given interface. Similarly, zTtlQosModeTable/zTtlQosModeEntry (zTtlQosModeUcinherimode) and zMlsQosModeTable/zMlsQosModeEntry would be checked to confirm TTL-based and MLS QoS inheritance modes are set as designed; an interface reporting an unexpected inheritance mode would explain misprioritized traffic during congestion.
