Description: Defines Differentiated Services QoS settings for ZTE ZXR10 equipment, including DSCP mapping and per-hop behavior.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-QOS-DS-MIB?

ZXR10-QOS-DS-MIB is a ZTE proprietary SNMP module for the ZXR10 platform that describes Differentiated Services (DiffServ) QoS configuration, including domain-map definitions, 802.1p-to-class/color mapping, and DSCP mapping tables. It exposes configuration data defining how incoming traffic markings (802.1p priority bits, DSCP values) are mapped to internal QoS classes and colors for per-hop-behavior treatment. This MIB is useful for monitoring the software QoS-policy status of the device, confirming that traffic classification and marking mappings are configured as intended so that voice, video, or business-critical traffic receives its designated priority treatment across the network. As a DiffServ implementation it conceptually aligns with the IETF DIFFSERV-MIB framework, and likely complements other ZXR10 QoS/ACL MIBs for a complete traffic-management picture. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 routers/switches in networks requiring consistent DiffServ-based QoS treatment across multiple hops, and administrators can download the ZXR10-QOS-DS-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser for policy verification.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-QOS-DS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 router/switch

Monitoring Examples

An operator polls the zxr10QosDsDmTable/zxr10QosDsDmEntry for zxr10QosDsDmName and zxr10QosDsDmId to identify configured DiffServ domain maps, then checks zxr10QosDs8021pTable/zxr10QosDs8021pEntry fields zxr10QosDs8021pValue, zxr10QosDs8021pClass, and zxr10QosDs8021pColor to confirm 802.1p priority values map to the intended QoS class and color. A mismatch here, or an unexpected mapping in zxr10QosDsDscpTable/zxr10QosDsDscpEntry, would explain why certain traffic is receiving the wrong forwarding priority end-to-end.

What Can Be Monitored

  • DiffServ domain map configuration
  • 802.1p-to-class/color mapping
  • DSCP mapping table
  • per-hop-behavior policy configuration
