What Is ZXR10-QOS-STAT-MIB?

ZXR10-QOS-STAT-MIB is a ZTE proprietary MIB for ZXR10 switches/routers that reports Quality of Service (QoS) statistics per interface, direction, and policy/class hierarchy, covering up to four levels of policy and class nesting. It exposes performance-counter data such as per-interface, per-direction traffic-class statistics tied to named QoS policies and classes, which fall under the general category of performance/traffic monitoring rather than hardware environmental status. This makes it useful for monitoring the software-level health of QoS enforcement: verifying that a given traffic class on an interface is receiving its expected queue treatment, and spotting drops or throughput anomalies that indicate congestion or misconfigured policy-maps. It depends conceptually on the device's underlying QoS policy-map/class-map configuration (likely defined in a companion ZXR10 QoS configuration MIB) rather than an external IETF standard. Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll zxr10QosStatTable/zxr10QosStatEntry, keyed by zxr10QosStatIntfName and zxr10QosStatIntfDir, to retrieve statistics for a given policy at each nesting level via zxr10QosStatPolicyNameL0 through L3 and the corresponding zxr10QosStatClassNameL0 through L3. A sudden rise in drop or byte counters for a specific class under zxr10QosStatClassNameL1 while other classes remain flat would indicate that a particular traffic type (e.g., voice or video) is being disproportionately affected by congestion or policing on that interface. Comparing zxr10QosStatGlobalObjects across interfaces helps confirm whether the issue is interface-specific or system-wide.

How to Use in IPNetwork Monitor

Example using zxr10QosStatTotalPacketsOut OID:

Select a ZTE ZXR10 switch/router (per-interface QoS policy/class traffic-statistics status) as the target host to create a monitor — the SNMP service should be up and running on it. Click New Monitor, then check SNMP Custom on the Favorites tab, click Next, and confirm the host. On the next page, click Select... to open the built-in SNMP MIB Browser and type zxr10QosStatTotalPacketsOut into the Find box to locate it in the OID tree, selecting the specific row/instance you want to monitor since this is a table column, then select it and click OK. The total transmitting packts. On the monitor's Main parameters page you can set the target's SNMP port (default 161), credentials, polling interval, and other settings — see the SNMP Monitor help for details. On the State conditions and Alerting tabs, configure when the monitor should change state and trigger an alert; since this is a Counter64-type OID, Value bounds is the most useful condition here — trigger an alert if the counter increases sharply between polls relative to its normal baseline, since an unexpected spike often reflects a real change in traffic or activity. Click Finish to create the monitor; you can adjust any parameter later.
