What Is XPRESS-MIB?
XPRESS-MIB (internally titled RAC-MIB) is a vendor-specific MIB from the Gandalf Division of Mitel Corporation for the XpressWay Remote LAN (RLAN) and XpressStack Remote Access Concentrator product line -- legacy ISDN dial-up access equipment, not a protocol-acceleration appliance as the short hint might suggest. Beyond supporting standard MIB-II groups (System, Interface, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP), its proprietary RAC groups cover box-level system state (rSysAdminState, rSysOpState, rSysUpTime, rSysCompressionAdminState/OpState), per-slot I/O card management with creatable/deletable rows, per-card D-channel and B-channel (data) configuration and statistics, and a WAN Statistics group indexed 1-128 that tracks which card/port/channel and which Remote LAN is currently using each WAN link. It also defines dedicated groups for filtering, MAC filtering, blacklisting, IPX/SAP/RIP, PPP, and call routing/security on a per-remote-LAN basis. This lets an operator correlate an active ISDN call to the physical card/channel and remote LAN it belongs to, and monitor per-WAN-link throughput and connection state in near real time. It is deployed on Gandalf/Mitel XpressWay RLAN and XpressStack RAC hardware, and administrators managing these legacy dial-up concentrators can download the XPRESS-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in XPRESS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
An operator uses rWANStatsCardID/PortID/ChanID for a given WAN Stats index to identify which physical card and B-channel is carrying a specific remote LAN connection (via rWANStatsRemLANID), then checks rCardStatus for that card; a WAN link showing active traffic while its owning card reports an OFFLINE status would indicate a stale or orphaned WAN statistics entry.
