Description: This object records the result code of the last SNMP set operation. On a set that fails this object can be retrieved to enhance the error codes provided by the SNMP protocol. If the set response contains a non zero error index then this object relates to the object in the set request as indicated by the error index (as per normal PDU error parsing). If the set response message indicates an error but the error index is zero then this object pertains to the semantics of the attempted set operation on the system as as whole (e.g. table full).
