What Is Unisphere-Data-ATM-CONF?
Unisphere-Data-ATM-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module for the ATM subsystem of the SNMP agent on Unisphere (later Juniper ERX) Routing Switch platforms. Rather than defining runtime data objects, it declares which ATM-related MIB groups and compliance statements the agent implements, covering areas such as ATM VCC endpoints, VP tunnels, NBMA, switching, and traffic shaping. It has no monitoring data of its own; instead it is a machine-readable statement of agent capability used by NMS tools and MIB compilers to determine which parts of the standard ATM MIBs a given ERX software version actually supports. Its dependency is inherent: it references and constrains support for the standard IETF ATM MIBs rather than defining new objects. It is typically consulted during NMS integration/onboarding for Unisphere/Juniper ERX routers to confirm ATM feature support before deploying monitoring templates, making the Unisphere-Data-ATM-CONF MIB a reference point for confirming agent capability during that process.

This module contains no runtime-pollable data objects; usdAtmVccEndPointAgent, usdAtmVpTunnelAgent, usdAtmNbmaAgent, usdAtmSwitchAgent, and usdAtmTrafficShapingAgent are AGENT-CAPABILITIES statements, not monitorable variables. A tool or engineer would read this module only to determine, for a given agent version, whether VCC endpoint, VP tunnel, NBMA, switching, or traffic-shaping support is present in the standard ATM MIB implementation before building monitoring or provisioning workflows against it.
