What Is Unisphere-Data-Log-CONF?
This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES/conformance module for the Unisphere Networks (later Juniper) ERX Routing Switch family, defining conformance statements for the SNMP agent's logging-management component. Rather than exposing runtime data itself, it declares which object and notification groups from the companion Unisphere logging MIB a given agent implementation actually supports. Because it is a pure conformance module, it does not directly expose hardware or software status data such as uptime, temperature, or CPU load; it certifies feature coverage rather than reporting device health. It depends on the companion Unisphere Data Log MIB for the real object/table definitions and on standard SNMPv2-CONF conventions for AGENT-CAPABILITIES statements. It is used by MIB compilers and network management systems to check feature-level compliance of an ERX software/agent release, typically during MIB loading rather than live polling, which is when tools load the Unisphere-Data-Log-CONF MIB alongside its companion logging module to verify agent compliance.

Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

This module contains no runtime data objects, tables, or notification definitions of its own -- it is a pure AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module listing which object/notification groups of the companion Unisphere Data Log MIB a given agent implements. There is no meaningful SNMP GET/WALK monitoring scenario to describe; it is consumed by MIB compilers and NMS platforms during compatibility checks rather than by live polling of a device.
