What Is TY3250I-MIB?
TY3250I-MIB manages the TY3250I series device, a T1/DTE multiplexer or channel-bank type unit used to terminate T1 lines and multiple data terminal equipment (DTE) interfaces. It exposes system identification and inventory data (unit type, software/hardware revision, counts of installed T1, DTE, and comm cards) alongside per-line T1 configuration data such as framing, line encoding, and density. Its monitoring value spans both software and hardware status: ty3250SysSoftRev and ty3250SysHardRev track firmware/hardware revision for asset and upgrade tracking, while the installed-card-count objects confirm expected hardware modules are physically present, and the T1 configuration tables reveal whether a line's settings match the carrier's requirements. As a T1-carrying device MIB it likely complements standard DS1/T1 physical-layer MIBs for performance statistics, focusing itself on device-specific configuration and inventory. It is deployed on TY3250I series T1/DTE multiplexer or channel-bank equipment used in telecom and enterprise WAN environments carrying leased T1 circuits. Engineers can download the TY3250I-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TY3250I-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- TY3250I series T1/DTE multiplexer or channel bank
Monitoring Examples
ty3250SysTable reports ty3250SysType, ty3250SysSoftRev, and ty3250SysHardRev for asset and firmware tracking, while ty3250SysNumT1Installed, ty3250SysNumDteInstalled, and ty3250SysNumCommInstalled show how many T1, DTE, and communications cards are physically installed in the chassis. ty3250CfgT1Table entries expose per-line ty3250CfgT1Framing, ty3250CfgT1LineEncoding, and ty3250CfgT1Density settings, letting an admin verify a T1 circuit's framing and encoding match the carrier's specification and quickly spot a misconfigured or missing card versus the expected inventory count.
What Can Be Monitored
- software/hardware revision
- installed T1/DTE/comm card counts
