Description: The value of the object tlsMstiRegionalRoot indicates the bridge identifier of the regional root of the MSTI spanning tree as determined by the Spanning Tree Protocol instance associated with this service. This value is used as the CIST Regional Root Identifier parameter in all MSTP BPDUs originated by this node.
What is tlsMstiRegionalRoot?
This OID holds the bridge identifier of the regional root bridge in a spanning tree protocol (the device controlling packet flow in a network region). It shows which device is managing loop prevention and packet paths in that portion of the network. A network operator checks this to verify that the correct device has been elected as the spanning tree root.
