Description: The svcTlsMfibTableFullAlarmRaised notification is generated when the utilization of the MFIB table increases to reach the value specified by svcTlsMfibTableFullHighWatermark.
What is svcTlsMfibTableFullAlarmRaised?
This notification (alert) is triggered when the multicast forwarding information base (MFIB) utilization on a virtual service exceeds a configured threshold, signaling memory pressure on the multicast subsystem. Network operators monitor this trap to detect impending resource exhaustion and take corrective actions like pruning unused multicast groups or expanding resources. The notification includes the customer ID, service ID, and VPN ID to identify the affected service.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TIMETRA-SERV-MIB::svcTlsMfibTableFullAlarmRaised snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.4.2.0.9
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
