Description:
The value of svcTlsBgpADVsiImportPolicy2 specifies the name of the second VSI export policy to be used for BGP Auto-Discovery in this VPLS service.
If multiple policy names are specified, the policies are evaluated in the order they are specified. The first policy that matches is applied.
The import policy name list, svcTlsBgpADVsiImportPolicy1 through svcTlsBgpADVsiImportPolicy5, is handled by the SNMP agent as a single entity. When an SNMP SET request is received to modify one or more of the policy names, all the policy variables are first set to the empty string, ''H, and then the new names are set into the specified policy variables within a single SNMP SET PDU.
This object is obsoleted and replaced with svcTlsBgpVsiImportPolicy2 object in 8.0 release.
What is svcTlsBgpADVsiImportPolicy2?
This deprecated object specifies the second BGP Auto-Discovery import policy name for a VPLS service on an Alcatel-Lucent device; the MIB note indicates this is obsolete in favor of newer policy handling. Multiple policies can be chained and evaluated in order until one matches. An operator would use this legacy object in older software versions to control which discovered VPLS sites are imported and how they are manipulated.
