Description:
The value of the object svcIpRouting specifies, for a 'tls' service, whether IP routing is enabled. For 'epipe', 'p3pipe', 'apipe', 'fpipe', 'ipipe' and 'cpipe' services, this object cannot be set and has the value 'disabled', whereas for 'vprn' and 'ies' services the value is 'enabled' and cannot be set either. For 'tls' services the value of this object must be specified when the row is created and cannot be changed while the row status is 'active'.
What is svcIpRouting?
This configuration object enables or disables IP routing for a specific service instance on an Alcatel-Lucent router. For VPRN (virtual private routed network) and IES (Internet Enhanced Service) types, IP routing is always enabled; for pipe services it is disabled. Operators set this value during service provisioning to determine whether subscriber traffic undergoes IP layer routing.
