Description:
The total number of SNMP Messages which were passed from the SNMP protocol entity to the transport service.
What is snmpOutPkts?
This is a running count of all SNMP query answers the device has sent out to monitoring stations. It shows total network activity and helps detect if a device stopped communicating. For example, if the count stays flat for hours, the device probably crashed or lost connectivity.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
