Description:
The total number of SNMP Get-Next PDUs which have been generated by the SNMP protocol entity.
What is snmpOutGetNexts?
This counter tracks how many Get-Next requests the device has sent out over its lifetime. Network engineers use this to understand how much traffic their monitoring systems generate when walking through MIB tables. If this number climbs too quickly, it indicates excessive or poorly-designed polling.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
