The total number of SNMP PDUs which were generated by the SNMP protocol entity and for which the value of the error-status field was `genErr'.
What is snmpOutGenErrs?
This is a running count of generic error responses the device sent for miscellaneous reasons. It's a catch-all for problems not fitting other error categories. Spikes often precede device reboots or firmware bugs.
