What Is HH3C-EPON-DEVICE-MIB?
HH3C-EPON-DEVICE-MIB is an H3C enterprise MIB for device-level management of EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) OLT equipment, based on the IEEE 802.3ah EFM PON draft standard, covering system-level configuration such as port capacity and overall device parameters rather than per-ONU detail. It is expected to expose OLT chassis/board-level configuration and status objects tied to the PON hardware. Its intended monitoring role is hardware status of the OLT device itself, confirming port capacity, board presence, and overall device configuration health as the aggregation point for many ONUs. It explicitly derives from the IEEE 802.3ah EFM PON draft standard as its normative reference, adapted with an hh3c object-name prefix.
