Description: Manages EPON fiber backup and protection switching functions on H3C EPON OLT systems.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is HH3C-EPON-FB-MIB?
HH3C-EPON-FB-MIB is a Hangzhou H3C Technologies proprietary MIB managing EPON OLT fiber-backup (redundant-fiber) groups. Its table, keyed by group index, records row status, master/slave port, master/slave port status, and a switchover action. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which fiber port is active and trigger a manual failover on an H3C EPON OLT fiber-backup group. It is deployed on H3C EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) OLT equipment. Engineers can download the HH3C-EPON-FB-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HH3C-EPON-FB-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- H3C EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) OLT equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks hh3cEponFBMasterPortStatus and triggers hh3cEponFBSwitchover to fail over to the backup fiber on an H3C EPON OLT.
What Can Be Monitored
- fiber-backup group active-port status and failover control
