HH3C-OID-MIB

HH3C-OID-MIB is H3C Technologies' enterprise root MIB, defining the top-level OID subtree under which all HH3C-prefixed vendor MIB modules are organized. It contains no instrumented managed objects of its own — no interface, environment, performance, configuration, or fault data — since it functions purely as a structural OID namespace definitions module. It therefore has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status; its purpose is solely to provide a consistent OID root so that dependent H3C MIBs, which do expose hardware and software health data, can register their objects correctly. Virtually every H3C-specific MIB module depends on the enterprise OID tree this module establishes as a foundational namespace dependency. It is present as an always-loaded structural dependency on any H3C (or HPE/HP Networking-rebranded H3C-derived) networking device that exposes HH3C enterprise SNMP MIBs, and administrators typically consult the HH3C-OID-MIB reference only to trace an unfamiliar OID back to its owning module, not to retrieve live device telemetry.

This is a structural root/definitions module with no runtime objects — sample_objects is empty because HH3C-OID-MIB only establishes the H3C enterprise OID subtree rather than instrumented data points. An admin would never poll it directly; it exists so that dependent H3C hardware/software monitoring MIBs resolve their object identifiers under a consistent namespace.
