What Is GDCDSX1-MIB?

GDCDSX1-MIB is a legacy General DataComm (enterprise OID 498, built on GDCMACRO-MIB) proprietary MIB reporting DSX-1 unit firmware and configuration. Its objects cover a system MIB version, a version table (index, firmware revision, model number, active/stored firmware revision, boot revision, stored-firmware status), a switch-active-firmware action, downloading-mode flag, a maintenance table (line index, soft-reset action), config mode, front panel, system uptime, default-init action, reset-stats action, LED status, TX-clock-source setting, CSU mode, and circuit identifiers. As a status/configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm firmware version and CSU mode on a legacy General DataComm DSX-1 unit. It is deployed on legacy General DataComm DSX-1 equipment. Engineers can download the GDCDSX1-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
