What Is ASCEND-MIBCADSLNET-MIB?
ASCEND-MIBCADSLNET-MIB is an Ascend Communications (later Lucent) proprietary MIB configuring CADSL (Consumer/Committed ADSL) line-network profiles. Its profile table, keyed by shelf/slot/item, records name, physical shelf/slot/item-number address, enabled flag, profile number, trunk/nailed group, route-port slot/shelf/relative-port, activation, data-rate mode, max upstream/downstream rate, loopback, and an action field. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm a CADSL line's max upstream/downstream rate and trunk-group assignment on Ascend Communications (Lucent) access equipment. It is deployed on Ascend Communications (Lucent) CADSL access equipment. Engineers can download the ASCEND-MIBCADSLNET-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ASCEND-MIBCADSLNET-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Ascend Communications (Lucent) CADSL access equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks cadslNetworkProfile-LineConfig-MaxDownStreamRate to confirm a CADSL line's provisioned downstream rate on Ascend Communications (Lucent) access equipment.
What Can Be Monitored
- CADSL line profile rate and trunk-group configuration
