Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CXFLT-IPX-MIB?
CXFLT-IPX-MIB is a small private MIB (built on CXProduct-SMI) providing per-IPX-address filtering/forwarding rules on this vendor's modular platform. Its table, keyed by index, records source/destination IPX address, a filter parameter, and row status. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm which IPX addresses are being filtered or forwarded with specific parameters. It is deployed on this vendor's modular chassis platform carrying legacy IPX traffic. Engineers can download the CXFLT-IPX-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CXFLT-IPX-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Modular chassis platform (legacy IPX filtering)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks cxFltIpxAddrTable to confirm a specific IPX address is correctly filtered before troubleshooting unexpected IPX traffic on this platform.
What Can Be Monitored
- per-IPX-address filtering/forwarding rules
