cxFltIpxDstAddr

Module: CXFLT-IPX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CXFLT-IPX-MIB::cxFltIpxDstAddr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.22.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: NetNumber

Access: read-write

Description: Determines the destination IPX address (network number). This address corresponds to a source address in cxFltIpxSrcAddr on this table. The object cxFltIpxParameter determines whether data is filtered or forwarded from the source address to this destination address.

The address is an IPX network number. This number must be entered as 8 hexadecimal characters (four octets), for example 0xAB12CD34. The 0x must be present in every number; it indicates that the number is a hex number and is not counted as one of the octets. The x must be lowercase; the other characters are not case sensitive.

Range of Values: 4 octets, each character ranging from 00 to FF

Default Value: None

Configuration Changed: administrative

What is cxFltIpxDstAddr?

This value specifies the destination IPX network number that a filter rule matches against, paired with cxFltIpxSrcAddr to fully define the traffic flow being filtered or forwarded by this entry. An admin sets this to the network number of the destination segment they want to control access to or from, entered the same way as the source address in 8-character hexadecimal format. For example, entering 0x00001234 as the destination means the rule governs traffic headed toward that specific IPX network.
