What Is CISCO-WAN-CES-CONN-MIB?
CISCO-WAN-CES-CONN-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB configuring Circuit Emulation Service (CES) connections on Cisco MGX82xx-series WAN switches, an interworking function carrying non-ATM telephony traffic over an ATM cloud. Its channel-configuration-group table, keyed by channel number, records row status, port/VPI/VCI mapping, CBR service and clock mode, channel-associated-signaling (CAS) enable, partial-fill and buffer-max-size settings, cell-delay-variation receive threshold, cell-loss integration period, local/remote loopback state, test type/state/round-trip-delay result, connection type, idle-detection enable/signal-code/integration-period, and on-hook code. As a configuration/diagnostic MIB it lets an administrator confirm a CES channel's clocking mode and buffer settings, and trigger loopback tests. It is deployed on Cisco MGX82xx-series WAN switches offering Circuit Emulation Service. Engineers can download the CISCO-WAN-CES-CONN-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
