Description: Provides management objects for configuring and monitoring the Call Home feature on Cisco UCS/Firepower platforms for automated event notification.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-FIREPOWER-CALLHOME-MIB?

CISCO-FIREPOWER-CALLHOME-MIB is a Cisco Systems Inc. proprietary MIB modeling the Call Home management-information package on Cisco Firepower (FXOS chassis) platforms. Its objects cover an anonymous-reporting table (instance ID, admin state, report count, sleep interval, user-acknowledged flag), a destination table (address, name, protocol) for Call Home message delivery, and an endpoint-policy table (admin state, alert-throttling admin state, config state). As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which Call Home destinations are configured and whether anonymous usage reporting is enabled on a Cisco Firepower chassis. It is deployed on Cisco Firepower FXOS chassis platforms. Engineers can download the CISCO-FIREPOWER-CALLHOME-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-FIREPOWER-CALLHOME-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco Firepower FXOS chassis platforms

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks cfprCallhomeDestAddress and cfprCallhomeEpAdminState to confirm Call Home alerting is correctly configured and enabled on a Cisco Firepower chassis.

What Can Be Monitored

  • Call Home destination and endpoint-policy configuration
