Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CAMBIUM-PTP500-MIB?

CAMBIUM-PTP500-MIB is a Cambium Networks Ltd. (enterprise OID 17713) proprietary MIB for the PTP 500 series 105Mbps non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless Ethernet bridge. Its objects cover a DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) table (means, 99.9th-percentiles, peaks), a VLAN-priority table, an SNMP-trap-destination table, a user table, IP address/subnet mask/gateway, target MAC address, master/slave mode, max transmit power, antenna gain, cable loss, EIRP, channel bandwidth, remote IP address, and link name. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm RF power/gain settings and DFS radar-avoidance statistics on a Cambium PTP 500 wireless bridge. It is deployed on the Cambium Networks PTP 500 series wireless Ethernet bridge. Engineers can download the CAMBIUM-PTP500-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CAMBIUM-PTP500-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cambium Networks PTP 500 series wireless Ethernet bridge

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks maximumTransmitPower and eIRP to confirm regulatory RF power compliance on a Cambium PTP 500 wireless Ethernet bridge.
