Description: Manages ISDN BRI LT (Line Termination) interface configuration on Ascend access equipment.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ASCEND-MIBBRILT-MIB?
ASCEND-MIBBRILT-MIB is an Ascend Communications (later Lucent) proprietary MIB defining ISDN BRI leased-line interface profiles on Ascend MAX/Pipeline access equipment. Each profile entry, keyed by shelf/slot/item, names the line interface and configures whether it is enabled along with up to two answer-number strings used for call routing. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm a BRI leased-line interface is enabled and correctly provisioned with its expected answer numbers. It is deployed on Ascend/Lucent ISDN access equipment terminating BRI leased-line circuits. Engineers can download the ASCEND-MIBBRILT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ASCEND-MIBBRILT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Ascend Communications (Lucent) MAX/Pipeline ISDN access equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks bRILtProfile-LineInterface-Enabled and the associated answer-number fields for a BRI leased-line profile to confirm it is active and correctly provisioned before troubleshooting an incoming-call routing issue.
What Can Be Monitored
- BRI leased-line interface enable state and answer numbers
