Description: Manages ZTE ZXR10 route map policy definitions including match conditions and set actions for routing policy.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-ROUTE-MAP-MIB?

ZXR10-ROUTE-MAP-MIB is a ZTE private module implementing the Route Map (RMAP) protocol's managed objects on ZXR10 routers, used to define routing policy rules that match and act on route attributes. It exposes configuration data such as named route-map sequences, match conditions (e.g., AS-path matching), set actions, and row-status control for policy entries. This MIB is primarily a policy-configuration module rather than a runtime performance/fault monitor, though its row-status and notification objects can be polled to confirm a route-map entry is active and correctly applied, and to catch policy misconfigurations affecting route selection. It depends on standard BGP/routing textual conventions (e.g., AS-path representations) shared with BGP4-MIB-style modules. It is deployed on ZXR10 routers wherever route-map-based policy is used to control BGP or other routing protocol route redistribution and selection. Engineers can download the ZXR10-ROUTE-MAP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-ROUTE-MAP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 router (BGP/routing policy)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator would inspect zxr10RMAPNameTable entries (zxr10RMAPName, zxr10RMAPSequence, zxr10RMAPAction, zxr10RMAPRowStatus) to confirm a named route-map sequence is active and its action (permit/deny) is as intended. Checking zxr10RMAPMatchAspathTable (zxr10RMAPAspathName, zxr10RMAPAspathMatchName) verifies which AS-path match list a given route-map sequence references. A route-map entry with an unexpected zxr10RMAPRowStatus (e.g., notInService) would reveal a policy that silently stopped applying, potentially causing unintended route advertisement or suppression.

What Can Be Monitored

  • route-map sequence configuration
  • route-map action (permit/deny)
  • route-map row status
  • AS-path match list membership
