What Is ZXR10-PING-MIB?
This MIB belongs to the ZTE ZXR10 platform and models the device's built-in ICMP ping utility as a manageable object, allowing ping tests to be configured and their results collected via SNMP rather than only through the CLI. Monitoring Examples
An NMS would write ping-test parameters into the ping information table (destination address, count, timeout) and then poll the corresponding result row for round-trip time and packet-loss statistics. A rising round-trip time or nonzero packet loss for a previously stable target indicates network congestion or a failing path between the ZXR10 device and that destination. Because tests are configured per row, an operator can run many concurrent ping tests to different targets and compare results to isolate whether a problem is local to one path or affects the device broadly.
