What Is ZXR10-MACPING-MIB?
ZXR10-MACPING-MIB is a ZTE Corporation proprietary MIB (ZXR10 platform) implementing MAC Ping, a Layer 2 connectivity test analogous to ICMP ping but addressed by destination MAC address within a VPLS/VFI context. Its ping table, keyed by serial number, records destination MAC, outbound Ethernet interface, interface option, packet count, timeout, hop count, result type, trap-on-completion flag, row status, entry owner, PE-side interface option, VFI name, and peer address, while a result table records sent/received packet counts and round-trip min/max/average time. As a diagnostics MIB it lets an administrator run a Layer 2 MAC-addressed connectivity test within a VPLS instance and read back round-trip timing. It is deployed on ZTE Corporation ZXR10 platforms. Engineers can download the ZXR10-MACPING-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-MACPING-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
