What Is XEROX-SIMPLE-JOB-MGMT-MIB?

XEROX-SIMPLE-JOB-MGMT-MIB is a Xerox MIB implementing a lightweight subset of the XCMI job-management model, based on the ISO Document Printing Application and POSIX print-interface standards, for managing print jobs on network-attached Xerox printers. It exposes job-level data through a job base table describing job creation/update/group support capabilities and a job-management table used to submit operations to a job -- such as pausing (jobPause) or resuming (jobResume) it via xcmSimpleJobMgmtOperation -- and retrieve its resulting status. Its monitoring emphasis is on software/service status specific to the print pipeline: tracking whether a submitted job's operation succeeded, retrieving job status codes, and confirming which job-management capabilities (create, update, group) the device supports.
