What Is XEROX-SIMPLE-JOB-MGMT-TC?
XEROX-SIMPLE-JOB-MGMT-TC is a Xerox XCMI textual-convention module supplying shared data types for the companion XCMI Simple Job Mgmt MIB, which performs lightweight management of print/document jobs on network-accessible Xerox devices. Its conventions cover job management group support, job operations, and job data classifications used to represent job state, rather than exposing job objects directly. As a type-only module it carries no runtime data, but its definitions underpin the parent MIB's ability to report software-level job/queue status such as whether a job is queued, printing, or completed. It explicitly references ISO/IEC 10175-1 (Document Printing Application) and IEEE 1387.4 (POSIX print interfaces) as the standards its job-management model aligns with. It is used alongside Xerox network printers/multifunction devices that expose XCMI-based simple job management.
