Description: Defines conformance statements for Unisphere system clock and timing source management.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Unisphere-Data-System-Clock-CONF?
This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module for the system clock and timing-source component of the SNMP agent on Unisphere ERX Routing Switch devices. It declares which groups of the companion system clock MIB (covering clock source selection and synchronization status) the ERX agent implements, without exposing runtime data itself. It has no direct role in reporting hardware/software health metrics; its purpose is purely conformance declaration for clock-related management. It is explicitly dependent on the sibling Unisphere system clock MIB whose groups it references. It is used by MIB tooling and NMS vendors validating agent support for clock synchronization monitoring, important in networks relying on precise timing (e.g., TDM/voice services) over ERX routers. Engineers can download the Unisphere-Data-System-Clock-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Unisphere-Data-System-Clock-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper/Unisphere ERX Edge Router
- ERX Routing Switch family
Monitoring Examples
This module has no runtime data objects; it only declares AGENT-CAPABILITIES support for system clock MIB groups such as clock source and synchronization status objects. It would be consulted during MIB compilation, not live polling. There is no realistic monitoring scenario for this module itself.

RFC description
Juniper Networks/Unisphere MIB module that defines managed objects for system clock configuration on Unisphere-based devices (ERX, TLAN, etc.), enabling time synchronization management via SNMP.
Start monitoring Juniper/Unisphere ERX Edge Router, ERX Routing Switch family (system-clock-agent conformance declaration, no data objects) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
