Category: Juniper Unisphere ERX Conformance
Description: Defines Unisphere ERX Internet protocol MIB agent conformance groups and compliance specifications.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Unisphere-Data-Internet-CONF?
This is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module covering the basic layer 3/4 Internet protocol component of the SNMP agent on Unisphere ERX Routing Switch devices. It declares which groups of the underlying Internet/IP-related MIBs the ERX agent supports, without defining any data objects of its own. It has no direct role in hardware/software status monitoring, serving only as a conformance declaration. It depends on the companion base Internet-layer MIB(s) (IP, TCP/UDP-related) whose groups it references. It is consulted by MIB tooling and NMS vendors validating basic IP/transport-layer agent support on ERX routers, making this Unisphere-Data-Internet-CONF MIB a reference point during agent-capability compliance checks.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Unisphere-Data-Internet-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper/Unisphere ERX Edge Router
- ERX Routing Switch family
Monitoring Examples
This module contains no pollable objects; it only states AGENT-CAPABILITIES support for the base layer 3/4 Internet protocol groups. It is used during MIB compilation to confirm which standard IP/TCP/UDP groups the ERX agent implements. There is no runtime monitoring scenario to describe.
