svcTmplTlsPriPortsCumFactor

Module: TIMETRA-SERV-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-SERV-MIB::svcTmplTlsPriPortsCumFactor

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.4.2.95.1.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of svcTmplTlsPriPortsCumFactor specifies a factor for the primary ports defining how many MAC-relearn periods should be used to measure the MAC-relearn rate, svcTmplTlsMacMoveMaxRate. This rate must be exceeded during consecutive periods before the corresponding ports (SAP and/or spoke-SDP) are blocked by the MAC-move feature.

An inconsistentValue error is returned if an attempt is made to set the value of svcTmplTlsPriPortsCumFactor to a value lower than or equal to svcTmplTlsSecPortsCumFactor.

What is svcTmplTlsPriPortsCumFactor?

This object configures how many MAC-relearn measurement periods are combined to calculate the MAC-move rate on primary ports in a MAC-learning service. The rate is measured across consecutive periods, and if it exceeds the configured threshold, the associated ports (Service Access Points or spoke connections) are automatically blocked by the MAC-move protection feature. Operators set this value to adjust the sensitivity of MAC-move detection, with a range of 3 to 10 periods.
