Description:
The value of svcEndPointBlockOnMeshFail specifies that the operational status of spoke-SDPs in the endpoint will be affected by the operational status of associated mesh SDPs in this service.
If there are no mesh SDPs in the service, value of this object is ignored.
When this object is set to 'true', then the operational status of the spoke-SDPs in the endpoint will be 'down' until the operational status of at least one mesh SDP in this service is 'up'.
When set to 'false', the operational status of the spoke-SDPs in the endpoint will not be affected by the operational status of any mesh SDPs in the service.
What is svcEndPointBlockOnMeshFail?
This OID controls whether an endpoint in a multiprotocol service is taken down if the mesh backup paths fail. When enabled, losing backup routes causes the primary connection to drop too. A network architect enables this to ensure fast failover detection, preventing black-hole routing scenarios.
