Module: TIMETRA-SERV-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-SERV-MIB::svcEPMCEPConfigMismatch

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.4.2.0.29

Description: The svcEPMCEPConfigMismatch notification is generated when service multi-chassis endpoint detects a mismatch in the config of the multi-chassis endpoint peer.

What is svcEPMCEPConfigMismatch?

This is a notification (alarm) sent when a multi-chassis service endpoint detects its configuration differs from its peer endpoint. It detects synchronization failures in high-availability deployments. An operator receives this alert to investigate and resync configurations before traffic loss occurs.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TIMETRA-SERV-MIB::svcEPMCEPConfigMismatch
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.4.2.0.29

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:63933->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (297209789) 34 days, 9:34:57.89
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: TIMETRA-SERV-MIB::svcEPMCEPConfigMismatch
