Module: TIMETRA-SDP-MIB
OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-SDP-MIB::tmnxSvcSdpBindEncapPVST

Description: The tmnxSvcSdpBindEncapPVST notification is generated when an SDP bindings STP received a BPDU that was PVST encapsulated. The SDP binding STP's BPDUs will be PVST encapsulated. No recovery is needed.
What is tmnxSvcSdpBindEncapPVST?
This notification is generated when an SDP binding's Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) receives a Bridge Protocol Data Unit (BPDU) that is encapsulated in PVST (Per VLAN Spanning Tree) format instead of standard 802.1D format. It indicates that PVST encapsulation is active on the connection. Operators receive this informational alert that the STP configuration is compatible with PVST-capable devices.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TIMETRA-SDP-MIB::tmnxSvcSdpBindEncapPVST snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.4.5.0.19
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
