sdpBindTlsStpPortNum

Module: TIMETRA-SDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-SDP-MIB::sdpBindTlsStpPortNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.4.4.6.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The value of the object sdpBindTlsStpPortNum specifies the value of the port number field which is contained in the least significant 12 bits of the 16-bit Port ID associated with this SDP Bind. Values in the range 2048..4094 are automatically assigned by the agent when the SDP Bind is created or when the value of this object is set to zero via management. Values in the range 1..2047 can be set via management, to allow this object to have a deterministic value across system reboots.

What is sdpBindTlsStpPortNum?

This OID sets the port number (1-4094) used in spanning tree protocol for this connection, controlling which path data takes if loops are detected. Numbers 2048+ are auto-assigned by the system. A network engineer configures this when setting up redundant network paths to avoid data loops.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.4.4.6.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TIMETRA-SDP-MIB::sdpBindTlsStpPortNum

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.4.4.6.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TIMETRA-SDP-MIB::sdpBindTlsStpPortNum.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.4.4.6.1.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> sdpBindTlsStpPortNum.1
