Description: The value of sapIngressVlanTranslationId specifies the VLAN id to be used to overwrite the preserved VLAN id in the packet.
An 'inconsistentValue' error is returned when an attempt is made to set the value of sapIngressVlanTranslationId to other than '-1' and sapIngressVlanTranslation is not set to 'vlanId'.
What is sapIngressVlanTranslationId?
This object specifies which VLAN ID should overwrite the original VLAN tag in incoming packets at a Service Access Point. It enables network operators to remap packets arriving on one VLAN to a different internal VLAN before routing or processing. An operator uses this when integrating networks with incompatible VLAN numbering schemes or when consolidating multiple customer VLANs onto a single service.
