sapMldSnpgCfgRobustCount

Module: TIMETRA-MLD-SNOOPING-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-MLD-SNOOPING-MIB::sapMldSnpgCfgRobustCount

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.45.2.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of the object sapMldSnpgCfgRobustCount specifies the robustness variable on this SAP.

This object allows tuning for the expected packet loss on this SAP. If a SAP is expected to be lossy, the Robustness Variable may be increased. MLD snooping is robust to (Robustness Variable-1) packet losses.

The value of this object is only meaningful when the value of sapMldSnpgCfgSendQueries is 'inService(2)'.

What is sapMldSnpgCfgRobustCount?

Sets the Robustness Variable (2-7, default 2) for this SAP, tuning how many lost packets MLD snooping tolerates (Robustness Variable minus 1); increase it on a SAP expected to have higher packet loss. Only meaningful when sapMldSnpgCfgSendQueries is enabled.
