sapMldSnpgCfgLastMembIntvl

Module: TIMETRA-MLD-SNOOPING-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-MLD-SNOOPING-MIB::sapMldSnpgCfgLastMembIntvl

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.45.2.2.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of the object sapMldSnpgCfgLastMembIntvl specifies the Max Response Time (in tenths of a second) used in Group-Specific and Group-Source-Specific Queries sent in response to 'leave' messages. This is also the amount of time between Group-Specific Query messages.

This value may be tuned to modify the leave latency of the network. A reduced value results in reduced time to detect the loss of the last member of a group.

What is sapMldSnpgCfgLastMembIntvl?

Sets the max response time in tenths of a second (1-50, default 10) used in the Group/Source-Specific Queries the switch sends after receiving a leave message, and the spacing between them; lowering it reduces how long it takes to detect the last member of a group has left.
