Category: Enterprise Root and Textual Conventions, Teldat Router Management
Description: Defines the Teldat S.A. enterprise root OID tree and top-level object registrations for all Teldat router MIBs.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is TELDAT-MIB?
TELDAT-MIB is the enterprise-level Structure of Management Information module for Teldat S.A., a Spanish networking equipment vendor known for its enterprise routers and WAN access devices. It defines the top-level Teldat OID tree and object registrations under which all other Teldat-specific MIB modules register their managed objects, rather than exposing any operational data of its own. Network engineers searching for the TELDAT-MIB OID hierarchy will find that this module's sole purpose is to anchor that namespace, so it plays no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status such as uptime, temperature, or interface counters -- that responsibility belongs to the functional Teldat MIBs built on top of it. It depends only on standard SNMPv2-SMI conventions and is a prerequisite import for every other Teldat enterprise MIB. It is loaded by MIB compilers and management systems whenever the full suite of Teldat router/WAN-device MIBs is compiled or polled, typically in enterprise and service-provider networks running Teldat routers.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Teldat S.A. enterprise/WAN router and access-device platforms, entire product line (base enterprise OID registration)
Monitoring Examples
This is a purely structural registration module defining only the Teldat enterprise OID branch, with no scalars, tables, or notifications of its own, so there is no runtime monitoring scenario to describe. Its OID assignments are consumed by other Teldat-specific MIBs (covering routing, interfaces, and system status) that do expose pollable objects. A MIB browser loading the Teldat suite resolves those functional MIBs' object identifiers through the tree this module establishes.

RFC description
Defines the enterprise OID root and management structure for Teldat networking devices.
Start monitoring Teldat S.A. enterprise/WAN router and access-device platforms, entire product line (base enterprise OID registration) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
