What Is SLEV2-PPPoE-MIB?
SLEV2-PPPoE-MIB is a DASAN Networks vendor-specific MIB for the second-generation SLE (SLE v2) OLT platform, managing PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) subscriber sessions used for broadband access authentication. It exposes PPPoE session tables covering active subscriber sessions, authentication state, and session-level statistics. Its monitoring role focuses on subscriber/software session health rather than hardware sensors, letting an operator see how many PPPoE sessions are active, detect failed or dropped sessions, and track per-session statistics that can reveal authentication-server or access-network problems. It relies on the standard PPPoE (RFC 2516) and PPP protocol concepts it models in SNMP form. It is deployed by broadband access providers using DASAN SLE v2 OLTs to authenticate and track subscriber PPPoE sessions. Engineers can download the SLEV2-PPPoE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
