What Is SLE-SFLOW-MIB?

SLE-SFLOW-MIB is a DASAN Networks (DZS) enterprise MIB for SLE-series OLTs that manages the sFlow traffic-sampling feature, an industry-standard packet/counter sampling technology used for network-wide traffic visibility. It exposes sFlow configuration such as sampling rate, polling interval, and collector (export destination) settings per interface, i.e. configuration data rather than the sampled flow records themselves. Its monitoring value is mainly operational/software-configuration status, confirming sFlow is enabled and correctly pointed at a live collector, rather than hardware health; a misconfigured or disabled agent means the traffic-visibility pipeline silently stops delivering data. It relies on the standard sFlow protocol (sFlow.org) for the wire format of exported samples, with this MIB only covering the local agent's configuration knobs. It is deployed on DASAN/DZS SLE OLT chassis feeding sFlow data to a centralized traffic-analytics or NetFlow-style collector for network-wide visibility.
