Category: DASAN Networks SLE OLT Management

Description: Manages Hanasoft SLE OLT network layer configuration including IP interfaces and static routing.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SLE-NETWORK-MIB?

This is a Hanasoft private enterprise MIB for the SLE line of GPON/EPON Optical Line Terminal (OLT) systems, covering IP network-layer configuration such as management interfaces, static routing, and DHCP relay/server behavior. It exposes configuration objects for IP interface addressing, static route entries, and DHCP-related parameters used by the OLT's management plane. As primarily a network-configuration MIB it does not directly expose hardware sensors, but verifying its IP/DHCP/route configuration is important to confirming the OLT's management-plane software is reachable and correctly provisioned, a prerequisite for monitoring anything else on the device. It works alongside Hanasoft's other SLE MIBs (chassis, PON port, ONU management) that depend on this network layer being correctly configured for SNMP reachability itself. It is deployed on Hanasoft SLE-series OLTs in FTTH/PON access-network head-end locations, and technicians can obtain an SLE-NETWORK-MIB download to load the module into their network management system.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SLE-NETWORK-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Hanasoft SLE-series GPON/EPON Optical Line Terminal

Monitoring Examples

No sample_objects were provided; consistent with the module description covering DHCP and IP network features, a realistic use would be checking the OLT's configured management IP interface and static route table, and confirming DHCP relay/server settings are correctly pointed at the intended server, since a misconfiguration here would make the OLT unreachable for all other SNMP-based monitoring.

What Can Be Monitored

  • management IP interface configuration
  • static route table entries
  • DHCP relay/server configuration
