What Is RAISECOM-OSPF-MIB?

RAISECOM-OSPF-MIB is a private MIB from Raisecom extending standard OSPF routing configuration and link-state monitoring on Raisecom access and aggregation devices, adding vendor-specific authentication objects. It exposes MD5 authentication key configuration for OSPF interfaces and virtual links, alongside general OSPF configuration objects. While primarily configuration-focused, it supports monitoring of the OSPF routing software's operational integrity by confirming authentication keys are correctly provisioned and active, which affects whether adjacencies can form. It notably extends and depends on the standard OSPF-MIB (RFC 1850/4750) for baseline OSPF objects. Monitoring Examples

An administrator would poll rcOspfIfMd5AuthTable entries, indexed by rcOspfIfMd5AuthIpAddress, to verify rcOspfIfMd5AuthKeyId and rcOspfIfMd5AuthKeyRowStatus are active and correctly configured for a given interface. For virtual links, rcOspfVirtIfMd5AuthTable entries indexed by rcOspfVirtIfMd5AuthAreaId and rcOspfVirtIfMd5AuthNeighbor would be checked; a key mismatch here would prevent the virtual link's OSPF adjacency from forming, visible as a stuck neighbor state in the standard OSPF-MIB neighbor table.
